If one thing has boomed in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis – aside from sales of protective masks and hand sanitiser – it is the quantity of content offering advice for individuals on how to adjust to life working from home.
The irony is not lost on us: this is yet another such article. But BOOST&Co has two aces up its sleeve: an organisational psychologist (Heather Bingham) and a business-wide Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) programme.
As well as advising our team to keep busy, set goals and use this period of isolation to try something new, Bingham has carried out original research to provide advice on working from home that is tailored to each of the 16 different MBTI personality types.
Armed with this guidance, employees are able to see which approaches are best suited to them, as well as understanding the kinds of support that colleagues with different personality types will need.
You can find Bingham’s advice for each personality type below, as well as downloadable “decision-makers” for introverts and extroverts. Print these, cut them out and have some origami fun with the kids while you discover some advice on working from home that is tailored to you.
