Who are you?
My name is Karaoke, but everyone calls me Carrie O’Kee.

What do you do?
I help to look after BOOST&Co’s current investments by collecting and analysing management information from our portfolio companies.

Where can we find you?
Uhm, if you must get in touch, the best way to connect with me is via Linkedin or by email.

What is a typical day in the office?
Well, it ranges from administrative tasks to flying across the Atlantic. No day is the same for me.

What do you love most about your job and why?
I love to read up about new companies and learn about the dynamics of their business model by analysing management information. I’m quite nosey.

How would you describe your personal style?
I have been described as impetuous, single-minded and beautiful, obviously. Overall, I would say I’m a non-conformist.

Why is flying one of your hobbies?
There is nothing more beautiful than flying across the African plains and witnessing all the wonderful sub-Saharan creatures in their natural habitat.

What do you consider the main achievements of your life?
I am the first woman to successfully fly across the Atlantic from east to west. I am a published author as you know. I’m very popular with the lads, and I am one of the characters in the movie Out of Africa. I have several other achievements, such as having a crater on the planet Venus named after me. Should I continue?

No.

How would you describe your home decor?
Picture a library with gold picture frames filled with portraits of deceased relatives, burgundy leather Victorian wingback armchairs, red Persian rugs, a small dark brown oak coffee table in a dark room and the faint smell of cardboard. It’s very beautiful. And modern.

What was your most memorable holiday, why?
I have had so many great holidays, but my time in Nairobi, Kenya are among some of my most memorable holidays. I have fond memories of going on safari with the Duke of Gloucester and Earnest Hemingway.

Where will you be travelling next?
Something tells me I’ll be going to South Africa!
